Terms & Conditions

Karuna Events & Tent House provides the following event-related services:

• Pandal (Shamiana / Tent) erection and decoration for weddings, receptions, naming ceremonies, birthdays, and temple festivals.
• Rental of event equipment including chairs, tables, lights, fans, generators, sound systems, decorative items, and stage setups.
• Full event management packages combining setup, decoration, and coordination.
• Custom add-on services as agreed upon during booking.

Service availability is subject to date availability and the client's geographic location within our service area (Kudavasal and surrounding areas in Tamil Nadu).

• A booking is considered tentative when submitted via our website or WhatsApp. It becomes confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment.
• We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking request based on availability, location, or operational feasibility.
• You are responsible for providing accurate event details (date, venue, type, expected guest count) at the time of booking. Changes made after confirmation may incur additional charges.
• Bookings made on behalf of another person or entity are binding, and all terms apply equally.

• An advance payment (typically 20%–40% of the total) is required to confirm your booking and reserve your event date.
• The remaining balance must be cleared on or before the day of the event, prior to setup commencement.
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Bank Transfer, or Cheque.
• All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to revise pricing for bookings made more than 6 months in advance to account for material cost changes.

• All cancellations must be communicated via written message (WhatsApp or email) to be valid.
• Verbal cancellations over phone calls are not accepted as official cancellation.
• If we cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, emergency), a full advance refund will be provided within 7 business days.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to reflect.

• We provide weatherproof tent and pandal structures. However, in extreme weather events (cyclones, severe storms, floods), complete protection cannot be guaranteed.
• In cases of government-declared natural disasters or emergencies (floods, cyclone warnings, curfew), event setup may be rescheduled at no additional charge.
• We are not liable for losses or damages caused by events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events.

• All equipment and materials rented from us remain the property of Karuna Events & Tent House at all times.
• The client is responsible for the safe custody of rented equipment during the event period.
• Any damage, theft, or loss of our equipment during the event will be charged at replacement or repair cost, billed to the client separately.
• Our team will conduct a post-event inspection before dismantling. Any disputes regarding damage must be raised at that time.
• We are not responsible for damage to the client's venue or property caused by standard event setup operations.

• Provide accurate venue address and access details at least 3 days before the event.
• Ensure clear vehicle access to the venue for our transport and setup crew.
• Obtain any necessary permits or permissions from local authorities (panchayat, municipality, police) for outdoor events, roadside pandals, or use of public spaces.
• Ensure a basic power supply (electrical connection) is available at the venue if requested services require electricity.
• Designate a responsible contact person to be present at the venue during setup and dismantling.

• Our maximum liability for any service failure is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific booking in question.
• We are not liable for indirect losses such as emotional distress, loss of business opportunity, or consequential damages arising from any service issue.
• We are not responsible for personal accidents or injuries occurring at the event venue that are not directly caused by our negligent setup.

• You may use our website only for lawful purposes — to browse our services, submit booking enquiries, and manage your account.
• You must not attempt to access any restricted admin sections, tamper with data, or use the website for any fraudulent purpose.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user account that violates these terms or engages in abusive behavior.
• All content on this website (text, images, logos) is the intellectual property of Karuna Events & Tent House and may not be reproduced without written permission.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Tiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu.
• We encourage all disputes to be resolved first through direct communication. Please contact us before pursuing legal remedies.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
